Prinal Nathwani

Chairman

Educational/employment:
Prinal works in Tax Litigation at Deloitte LLP in London, and has an LLB in Law from the University of Manchester and an LLM in International Commercial Law. Prinal is also ATT qualified and works on a range of tax appeals, both in the indirect and direct tax sphere, as well as in supporting the resolution of tax disputes through alternative dispute resolution.
Previous experience:
Prinal has been affiliated with the National Hindu Students Forum (UK) (“NHSF”) for 6 years now, having held a number of roles within the organisation. In particular, Prinal was national General Secretary of NHSF for 2 years.
Other community work:
Prinal is also involved in other community work, namely supporting local school children through the Deloitte secondary school mentoring scheme and engaging with other local Hindu organisations.
Areas of focus within CHN:
Hindu political engagement, supporting Hindu graduates and personal development, promoting health awareness and initiatives within the Hindu community

    Naveen Ganpat

    Vice-Chairman and Treasurer

    Educational/employment:
    Naveen holds a MSc in Finance from Reading University and has 15 years of experience in the finance sector (banking, insurance and asset management) in both London and Amsterdam.
    Previous experience:
    Naveen has worked in several community organisations in Amsterdam organising cultural and religious events.
    Other community work:
    Naveen is currently active in the Arya Samaj Croydon.
    Areas of focus within CHN:
    Networking events, corporate and arts events and website development.

      Shefali Davda

      CHN Projects Team

      Educational/employment:
      Shefali is a Graduate in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Portsmouth and currently works in the field of recruitment, holding a role at the prominent recruitment company, Matchtech Group Plc. Shefali is also MIRP CertRP qualified, and has over 3 years of experience in this industry.
      Previous experience:
      Shefali has been affiliated with NHSF for 5 years, having held the role of Vice-President of her University chapter, and contributing to the national organisation through the role of South Zone Team member.
      Other community work:
      Outside of work, Shefali is involved with one of the largest welfare to work charities in the UK, supporting those who have difficulties entering the job market.

      Hindu political engagement, Hindu Dharma based events and initiatives, volunteering and community work

        Dipti Vyas

        CHN Projects Team

        Educational/employment:
        A qualified Solicitor, Dipti now works in the legal team at the prominent investment bank, Credit Suisse. Prior to this, Dipti worked in other legal roles.
        Previous experience:
        Dipti has been involved in similar community events and initiatives before, most notably having been involved in the organisation of the Diwali in London events in prior years.
        Other community work:
        In addition to her work within CHN, Dipti is also an active volunteer for the youth wing of the Chinmaya Mission UK, and in 2014, she will also be the Chair of the Diwali in London committee.
        Areas of focus within CHN:
        Arts and theatre based events, Hindu Dharma and educational activities, political engagement within the Hindu community.
