Mamta Bhatia (Tesco)
Mamta holds a masters degree in Psychology and currently works
for Tesco as an in-house psychologist where she has recently been assigned by their CEO to champion and set up an internal Asian Network. She has held similar posts with BP, KPMG
and Western Union. She is a regular talking head on the BBC Asian Network and
the resident psychologist on Westside Radio. She is also on the Panel of Psychologists and is a Director of Think
Spa.
Kishan Chandarana (Clifford Chance)
Kishan attended Dulwich College and
holds an LLB from SOAS. While at university he served as vice president of the
National Hindu Students Forum as well as being a member of the Hindu Forum of
Britain's Parliamentary Internships Programme Committee. He has completed the
gap year internship at Accenture and is soon to be a trainee solicitor at
Clifford Chance.
Akar Desai (UBS Investment Bank)
Akar holds a masters in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College. During his time at
university he was president of the Hindu Society and he went on to become a member of the National Hindu Students Forum
Executive Committee. He has worked at JP Morgan and is currently on the graduate program at UBS
Investment Bank.
Chahna Gosrani (KPMG)
Chahna attended Henrietta Barnet School before reading Chemistry and
Management at Imperial College. She was elected as the treasurer of
the Indian Society at her university. She completed internships at Goldman
Sachs and Marakon Associates and worked at JP Morgan before taking a position on the business foundation
program at KPMG.
Vinay Lathigra (Swiss Re)
Vinay attended Forest School before going on to read
Actuarial Sciences at the LSE. He is currently a trainee actuary at Swiss Re.
Amar Madhani (Simmons & Simmons)
Amar attended Chigwell School and read Law at the University of Nottingham, where he was also treasurer of the Hindu Society. He completed an internship at Bloomberg, before continuing with his career in the law as a trainee solicitor at Simmons & Simmons.
Aekta Mahajan (Deutsche Bank)
Aekta attended King's College London and holds a BSc in Business Management. After graduating from university, she joined Accenture's Management Consulting graduate program where she become the lead for Accenture's Asian Network. She also set up the Mentoring Program for ethnic minorities working at Accenture.
Previously she has completed an internship at HSBC and a gap year placement at British Airways and
she is currently working in the Group Chief Operating Office at Deutsche Bank.
Deepti Patel (Balsara & Co)
Deepti Patel attended Old Palace School of John Whiftgift and went on to read Politics and
History at Manchester where she wrote for the opinions column of the university newspaper. Following university she spent a couple of years at
Law School and she is currently a trainee solicitor at Balsara & Co. In her spare time
she is a keen photographer having held several exhibitions and she has also
worked for charities including the Veerayatan School and Sudesh Foundation. As
well as sitting on the CHN exec team, Deepti is the Arts and Cultural Affairs
Executive for Hindu Council UK.
Dhruv Patel (Barclays Capital)
Dhruv attended Forest School and went on to read Computing
at Imperial College. He sat on the committees of both the Hindu and Indian
Societies at his university and has raised over £1500 for SEWA International
in the past year. He completed an internship at Slaughter and May
and has recently graduated from the analyst program at Barclays Capital. In
his spare time he runs his own investment firm.
Jigar Patel (McKinsey & Co)
Jigar is an alumnus of the University Of Warwick, where he read Computer Systems Engineering.
Whilst at Warwick Jigar ran his own IT Consultancy, contracted for Procter & Gamble, and was a webmaster for ShareOracle.com.
He went on to complete a PhD at the University of Southampton, where his research was concerned with building a Computational Trust Model for Multi-Agent Systems.
He is currently an associate with McKinsey & Co.
Jilna Shah (Goldman Sachs)
Jilna attended St. Helen's School and holds a masters degree in Chemical
Engineering from Imperial College. While at university she founded the Kenyan
Society. She is currently on the graduate program at Goldman Sachs.
